Monday, February 20, 2017
The Blast & Breathe Combined Unit has precision dustless blasting and airline breathing equipment built into a specially-designed trailer for easy transportation. This all-in-one solution is ideal for small to medium-sized asbestos removal projects.
“The new Blast & Breathe Combined Unit offers many benefits for our customers,” explains Alex Watts, Operations Manager at Thermac. “Not only does it provide all the equipment neatly contained within one unit – it also saves our client’s time and money, by avoiding the hassle and costs of hiring and transporting multiple pieces of equipment from several different suppliers.”
The Blast & Breathe Combined Unit provides clean breathable air for up to four operatives and comes with a detachable control panel which can be used up to 50m away from the trailer. The Combined Unit also comes with a range of safety features to provide extra piece of mind for the users, such as an emergency back-up air supply and alarm system.
The precision dustless blast unit has a 60-litre tank, which can be refilled with grit through the use of an access hatch at the side of the trailer, and this also houses a fuel supply for the compressor. A coupling has been built into the side of the unit to attach the blast hose, so that all working parts are easily accessible at any time.
The Blast & Breathe Combined Unit is a product developed by Thermac’s new research and development division. The company is consolidating its position at the forefront of asbestos removal and plans to launch further products over the coming months.
