Negative Pressure Units/Air Movers & Moisture Filters

Thermac's equipment development team, design and manufacture a range of filtered air mover/extraction units (NPUs) which have proven to be very popular with contractors throughout the U.K.

These H14 HEPA filtered Negative Pressure Units are designed to BS 8520.2.2009 that can be used in a wide range of applications where there is a requirement for temporary air extraction.

The range of units can be adapted with various filtration options to suit specific requirements, including activated carbon and moisture filters. The applications our units can be used in include:

  • Asbestos Removal
  • Silica
  • Demolition
  • Welding and Fume Extraction
  • Bacteria & Viruses
  • Construction and General Dust Suppression
  • Mould Remediation
  • Lead Paint Removal
  • Data Centre Cleaning

Our air movers have a simple, easy to use operation which hides the sophisticated and high quality parts used in their construction, making them highly efficient and reliable.

These air movers are built from robust, smooth polypropylene plastic which makes them:

  • Lightweight
  • Non-corrosive
  • Electrically safe
  • Chemical resistant
  • Durable
  • Easy to clean

Our Negative Pressure Units contain HEPA filters tested to an efficiency of 99.997% and their overall performance provides the user the confidence that these machines meet today's stringent regulations.

Thermac also stock a comprehensive range of flexible ducting and pre-filters for use with these machines.

Thermac’s new Digital Air Flow Meter provides the user with a clear display of the actual real-time airflow performance of each Negative Pressure Unit – this gives greater accuracy when ensuring the correct negative pressure is maintained within an enclosure.

All Thermac Negative Pressure Units are supplied with this, we can also retro fit the device to any make of Negative Pressure Unit.

We also Manufacture and Hire Moisture Filters to suit our Negative Pressure Units.

These Moisture Filters protect the Integrity of the HEPA Filter by reducing the moisture which passes through and into the HEPA Filter ensuring the filters are not saturated. Plastic Vanes catch the majority of the moisture reducing it by over 90%.

1 X 2” Panel filter and 1 X 2” Fibreglass filters are used as a combination in the Moisture Filter to achieve G4 Filtration, protecting the HEPA Filter and Internal Components from damage due to moisture.
