The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) will be conducting inspections on construction sites throughout June as part of their month long focus on respiratory risks and occupational lung disease.

Sites of all types and sizes will be visited to check that appropriate measures are in place to protect workers’ lung health from exposure to dust in the latest, Dust Kills! campaign.

HSE inspectors will look at the way work is designed and planned, and the measures in place to protect workers from harmful exposure to dust.
