We are proud to introduce the UK’s first fully electric welfare/decontamination unit exclusively designed to run primarily as a fully electric unit.
The body is constructed of wipe clean, weatherproof, 30mm metal insulated panels. All the floor areas are constructed using marine grade plywood with a spray resin coating to maximise durability and water tightness.
All plumbing fixtures and fittings are located within the unit internally, therefore reducing exposure to weather elements and damage.
The unit combines a self-contained decontamination facility with a separate mask filter disposal unit, shower area complete with sink and supplied by hot & cold running water. A spacious canteen with catering facilities, storage, sink and hot & cold running water. There is a separate toilet facility for operatives with sink and hot & cold running water.
This unit is ideal for internal siting when powered by electric as there is no carbon monoxide risk and the unit is not exposed to weather elements or security risks.
Our state of the art electric unit will help to keep your sites greener, cleaner and is a more cost effective solution for any project. This unit has been designed with a view to helping reduce our carbon footprint in line with the UK’s target set around carbon pollution.

Key Features
• Hot and cold running water is available in all the sanitising areas, Kitchen, W/C and Shower
• The trailer attachment arm is self-releasing reducing the need for manual handling

Decontamination/Hygiene Area
The decontamination unit consists of clean end, shower area and dirty end.
Clean End
• 1 watertight LED lighting
• 4 wall-mounted in-line lockers
• 1 blowing heater 2000W + 1 plug 220V
• 4 hooks, 4 x sockets for masks re-loading and 1 mirror
• 1 large bench under lockers
• 1 door + return spring, fold-up steps and safety grip
Dirty End
• 1 watertight LED lighting
• 1 large seating bench
• 4 hooks, 1 mirror
• 1 waste contamination bin
• 1 magnetic fully sealed cover to allow safe removal/ exchange of NPU from technical room
• 1 door + return spring, fold-up steps and safety grip
Shower Area
• 1 watertight LED lighting
• 1 sink with mixer tap and shower head
• 1 walk-in shower (no shower tray) with a sloping floor to
allow drainage of waste water
• 1 soap holder + 1 x hook
• 1 trapdoor in partition wall between dirty end and shower to dispose of mask filters from the shower cabin
Digital Flow Meter
Readings can be taken from the real time digital flow meter housed within the technical room.
Welfare Facilities
The welfare facilities consist of a canteen area with folding seating and table area, cooking and beverage making area, sink and mixer tap with hot & cold running water, storage and adjacent toilet facilities.
Canteen Area

• 1 kettle, 1 microwave on a bespoke storage area for canteen utensils, accessed via single closing magnetic door

Service and after sales support
The unit comes with an NICEIC electrical certificate. Each unit is supplied with free user-training, warranty and all relevant test certification.
Each unit is also automatically logged onto Thermac’s computerised auto-recall system: this informs the owner when each re-test is required to ensure ongoing compliance and safety.
For added security Thermac units are fitted with the DATATAG tracker security system.
