The M-Series H-Type Wet Vac is an efficient, reliable, fully-compliant solution for use in the asbestos removal and construction sectors. Designed to be fully compliant with the requirements of BS8520.3.2009, it removes potentially contaminated water and debris from asbestos enclosures or flooded sites.
Thermac’s powerful and reliable wet vac features a submersible pump which continuously pumps out the filtrated water directly into a suitable drain – removing the need for operatives to manually lift and pour away potentially contaminated water.
Its four stage filtration system includes a strainer bag, situated within the 90-litre collection tank, which collects the majority of the solids from the contaminated materials vacuumed. The water filters through the strainer bag into the collection tank, where it is pumped out to a suitable drain through an external filter system which houses a 5 micron absolute filter.
To deliver an efficiency level of 99.995%, the main HEPA filter is fitted to the underside of the motor head, ensuring the exhausted air from the unit is free from any contaminates. Another HEPA filter inside the head of the vacuum also ensures the motor cooling air is contaminant-free.
