Thermac's new range of M-Series negative pressure units come packed with new features and benefits to assist contractors while on-site. These include the unique self-calibrating, backlit digital airflow monitor, which has been neatly housed within the casing. Each NPU is constructed using a lightweight and robust ABS material making the units stronger, and easier to handle. They contain HEPA-14 filters tested to an efficiency of 99.995% (H14) and their overall performance provide the user the confidence that these machines meet todays stringent regulations. Each new machine comes with 12 months limited warranty and 6 months D.O.P. and electrical test certificates and has the back up of Thermac's service support department. These units come complete with a Spigot Plate and Roving pre-filter box.
Key features:
Fitted with real time digital flow meter which is virtually maintenance free
Self-calibrating system: when the unit is first switched on the display will auto zero, and as the unit is running continuously the display will auto zero every ten minutes. This is a unique feature as it alleviates display drift and the need for periodic calibration
Fitted with hour meter
Complete with Roving Pre-Filter Box for use when localised extraction is required
A HEPA filter: acronym for high efficiency particulate air filter, is designed to remove 99.995% of dust, pollen and airborne particles down to a size of 0.3 microns. Our HEPA filters are fitted to a suite of Thermac equipment, including H-Type vacuum cleaners and Negative Pressure Units (NPUs).
What is a Negative Pressure Unit (NPU)?
A negative pressure unit is designed to reduce the risk of stagnant air within an environment: reducing the risk of airborne particulates by creating an airflow system for the air to be extracted. Thermac's NPUs are fitted with HEPA filters to filter harmful airborne particulates while in use.
