Powered Air Respirator providing 160l/min flow rate - designed for Asbestos and hazardous particulate applications. Proflow 2 SC 160 Asbestos incorporates a blower unit supplying filtered air to the facepiece through a breathing hose, a NiMH battery encased in a polyurethane casing.

It is recommended that regular RPE users should examine and maintain their equipment at least monthly, and infrequent users should monitor their equipment at least every 3 months.

What face-fit test do I need for a full face mask?

Quantitative face-fit mask tests are used to test the fitting of full face masks. Quantitative fit testing (QNFT) provides a numerical measure of how well a facepiece seals against a wearer’s face; this is called a fit factor. These tests give an objective measure of face fit. Source: hse.gov.uk. 
Do I need to shave to wear a full face mask?

Yes - in order to form an effective seal around the face, users must be clean shaven to wear a full face mask. If users are unwilling to shave, a hooded or helmet face mask should be considered.
Can I wear glasses while using a full face mask?
No - to maintain a tight seal around the user's face, wearing spectacles is not suitable. Users are instead advised to wear contact lenses while using full face masks, or have prescription lenses fitted within the mask itself.
